Stay Curious.

The DO Lectures.

The End of Normal.

The days proceeding.

People kept on asking me.

Q. Where are you going?

A. Wales.

Q Why?

A. To attend a 4 day event on a farm.

Q. A farm, what’s the event?

A. Umm.

At this question.

Words failed me.

I had no clue as to what I was attending.

I just understood it to be a place where people go for inspiration and to learn.

At least that’s why I was going.

It’s taken time to put the experience down.

But Boy OH Boy!

What an experience!

From the moment we arrived.

To the Food.

To the Speakers.

To the other 99 Attendees, from various places around the world.

Every Single Detail was cared for.

We sang.

We danced.

We learnt.

And s**t got deep.

People freely sharing the best and worst parts of themselves.

Everyone was generous and willing.

It was quite liberating just having conversations about life.

With complete strangers.

That felt like long lost friends.

Connecting into to the early hours of the morning.

One encounter.

At around 3am in the morning.

I remember because we recalled the time shortly after.

There were 3 of us.

Stood around a fire.

Drinking Gin.

Talking about the concept of Liminal Space.

I’d never heard of it.

But I was fascinated.

If you don’t know what it is.

GOOGLE IT!

Even if you think you do.

GOOGLE IT!

That was the magic of DO.

A special place.

Where everything fits.

And you belong.

It’s quite unique actually.

I was inspired.

And I learnt.

And I carry that back with me into my personal and business life.

If you're to ask me now.

How I would describe The Do Lectures.

I would say.

It’s a Festival.

About HOPE.

The hope and want for better.

To be surrounded by leading Creatives, Thinkers and Game-Changers.

Is an opportunity not to be passed.

I encourage you to attend.

I’ll be back.

Very soon.

But for now.

The magic lives on.
